After a few years of having a single piece here and there, I finally made the Lagniappe Wall at Ariodante Contemporary Art and Craft Gallery! This means that I am moving up in the art world! It was a really fortifying feeling to see Deyette Danford’s beautiful curation of my pieces and in spite of the massive heat; It was a fun show! I am really so happy not only with Deyette and her partner Laurie, who have owned the gallery on Julia Street for decades, but the community of extremely cool artists like Juli Juneau, Amy Sartin Carlisle, Gary Schiro, Sergio Alvarez, Krista Roche, Erin Gafill, I could go on. Thank you to everyone who came out to see our work and to the ladies for their support!
